Preset 60°C Appliances – Plumber installs an approved mandatory Tempering Valve on the hot water branch line to the bathrooms set at a maximum of 50°C. This then allows for the hotter 60°C water to be supplied to the kitchen & laundry which is best for cutting greases and rinsing. Whilst this requires the additional expense of a Tempering Valve, it is Rinnai’s preferred method of installation as it gives the end-user the best hot water solution
